Last day of class- "We're going to have a drawing competition...It was suppose to be with the Second Years, but they backed out" (HAHA!) "So instead you'll have a competition with your classmates"
We were asked to draw one of the five groups of people in the middle for ten minutes while they modeled (obviously for ten minutes). I chose to sketch- in a sketchy manner- focusing on one person at a time for however long my heart desired. I was surprised that it actually ended out looking somewhat like the people in front of me! We then voted on 1-8 categories, and mine won "craziest style". It's interesting because I wasn't going for any category at all, and was not focusing on any particular style, but I agree with my class mates on that vote :) We then had the vote on best over all drawing via 'process of elimination' and mine was in 3rd place! I havn't been recognized for my drawing at all throughout the semester so I was stoked that FINALLY by the VERY END of the semester I figured out my best drawing tecniques! haha! It had to happen eventually right? Better late than never.
